Foot Care Clinic

Today we had our foot care clinic. We have several individuals signup for appointments, however attendance was low. In addition, there were several walk-ins that had concern about their feet. Education was provided. An important aspect of foot care education includes proper footwear assessment; however it was observed that majority of Dakota Sioux Casino employees wore low quality footwear. Foot Care Clinic at Dakota Sioux Casino

March 16, 2010 from 9am to 2pm
Purpose: To provide easily accessible and affordable routine foot care clinic for the Dakota Sioux Casino employees.Screening will include identifying clients at risk for foot complications such as injury and ulcer. Education will be provided to clients about foot complications, appropriate foot self-care and protective behaviors, as well as shoe wear.
